Allison Wix

Allison comes from a family with a rich history in art and she has a formal education in design and visual communication, with specialties in visual merchandising, residential styling, and product design. Allison is passionate about using her art to create spaces that encourage introspection and beauty. In 2024, she transitioned her profession and career to focus on art.

Born in 1996 to a Dutch mother and an American father, Allison had the privilege of experiencing various cultures from a very young age. She traveled to many locations across the US, Asia, and Europe, primarily due to her dual citizenship and her father being in the military. This eventually led to Allison moving to Abu Dhabi in her teen years to attend the final years of high school in the United Arab Emirates. Her early exposure to various cultures fueled her deep appreciation for diversity, eventually leading her to relocate to Los Angeles, California, for college, where she has resided since 2014 and where she began her professional career.

Allison has been involved in the furniture industry for nine years. She was attracted to this field because of the hands-on aspects of design. The innovation and allure of creating an experience drove her to continue in many areas of this industry.  Allison believes that the home represents the most intimate and reflective space in one's inner world, and strives to bring beauty and tranquility through the artistic decoration in her work.
